Which subscribers

An empty value never clears a field on HubSpot; that subscriber simply gets no value for it. Values go to contact properties in a “Closed Loop” property group, made once on the first write. HubSpot’s own properties are never written; a property name that is HubSpot’s own is refused before anything is created.

Nothing is written to HubSpot until an owner or admin approves the proposal.
